The needle dance pattern is inspired by the craft tradition of Ostrobothnia, Finland. The name refers to the dance steps of the needle over a woolen embroidery. As the needle dances, the structured basic steps are mixed with delicate swirls of flowers and leaves. Smooth stitches are lined up and build structure around the wild freehand embroidery. All while nature takes a turn between straight rows of cultivated flowers.
