Hello! It is any of us; Aja or Mia who serve you if you visit our store in Jakobstad.

We also pack your orders from the online store and answer your questions.

In a peaceful environment in Swedish Ostrobothnia, Finland, we work dedicatedly with things we are interested in; genuinely handmade, things that have a story to tell, objects with a special design language or things that you only find in one copy. We value traditional craft methods as well as reuse and find it great to see old things find new homes.





It all started when we, Aja and Christian, bought an old, wooden house from the 1860s. We noticed that it was difficult to find building care products and spare parts for old houses in our locality and the idea of ​​working with something in this field was raised. 

In 2008, we founded the company Lundagård and opened a small shop in the small 19th-century house we lived in during the building period of our house. The webshop was opened in 2009. The following year we moved into the house we renovated. The store then got larger spaces and we were able to expand the range with all kinds of exciting items and offer the joy of discovery for all treasure hunters.

 

With a business to take care of and many children in the house, it was difficult to find enough time for everything. At the same time, we started to feel that it could be good to have someone to work with. Starting in 2013, our friends Mia and Hans became our partners.





After eight years, it started to feel tight in the small house and we started looking for bigger spaces, which we found in Jakobstad on Södermalm in the fall of 2016. In February 2017, we opened our new store in enlarged spaces.




In the summer of 2019, we started painting the facade of the house with Ottosson's linseed oil paint.
